Daytime is the name of the show where I made my guest appearance as “The Gourmet Nutritionist,” and it focuses on lifestyle and entertainment news.  Tuning in, you'll learn cooking secrets from top chefs, fix-it tips you can do yourself, fashion trends, travel hot spots, movie reviews and more...

In honor of National Pomegranate Month, I spoke about the power and benefits of pomegranates, the nutritional benefits of pomegranates (good source of antioxidants, Vitamin C, potassium and fiber) and research that indicates the antioxidants found in pomegranates may help protect from the onset of cancer.  I demonstrate how to open underwater, how to use in a floral decoration and how to use in food recipes.

 

My September 2008 segment was about quick ways to add nutrition to meals, and the producer was so pleased with the spot, I’ve been invited back!  So, for those of you interested in watching my nutrition segments, they’ll air the first Thursday of each month.

 

My October 2008 guest appearance on WFLA's "Daytime" as “The Gourmet Nutritionist,” focuses on fall foods.
